The CRF450RX series began with a first model year of 2017, a CRF450R optimized for hare scramble, hard enduro and GNCC style racing, with electric start, a larger fuel tank and an 18 inch rear wheel as standard equipment. The CRF450R could have an electric starter as an option in 2017, and in November 2017 Indonesia saw the launch of the CRF150L of 150 cc, built by Astra Honda Motor, with an air cooled SOHC single cylinder EFI engine of 149 cc that it shares with the Verza.
