The CRF250R followed the CRF450R in 2004 as the second motocross model of the series. Lower in the lineup came the CRF450X and CRF250X, both designed mostly for off-road use. The CRF450R had been CycleWorld's Best Motocrosser for a record eight consecutive years from 2002 to 2009. The sources used for this page record no other change specific to the 2004 model year, so this page claims none. Neighbouring model years are linked from this page.
