1963 Honda Super Cub

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

An enlarged 86.7 cc pushrod engine of 4.8 kW arrived in 1963 and was used first in the C200, which had a frame like the C110 Sports Cub with more upright handlebars. Honda began its famous nicest people advertising campaign in US media in June 1963, created for it by Grey Advertising and run for 12 years; it marked the start of the decline of domestic and British motorcycle brands in the US market and the rise of Honda and the other Japanese makers.
