The Honda Super Cub, also called the Honda Cub, is an underbone motorcycle made and sold by Honda with a four-stroke single-cylinder engine of 49 to 124 cc. Production has run without a break since 1958, the 100 million mark was reached in 2017, and no other motor vehicle has been built in larger numbers. Its pressed steel step-through frame, plastic leg shields and clutchless semi-automatic gearbox made it a motorcycle for everyone, and the American advertising campaign You meet the nicest people on a Honda shaped the image of Honda for a generation. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into 4 generations: the 1958 to 1964 (1958 to 1964 model years); the 1965 to 1981 (1965 to 1981 model years); the 1982 to 2006 (1982 to 2006 model years); the 2007 to 2024 (2007 to 2024 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
