2000 Honda XR Series

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The XR650R was available from 2000 to 2007 and was not just an update to the XR600, with an all-new 649 cc liquid-cooled SOHC engine mated to an aluminum box frame. It weighed 280 pounds dry, more than the XR600R it replaced, but had a powerful engine, and Team Honda and the XR650R won the Baja 1000 many times during its production. This page belongs to the Honda XR Series (2000 onward), 2000 model year onward; the generation page and the Honda XR Series model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
