1987 Honda RC30

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The VFR750R RC30 was first sold in Japan in 1987. Its 748 cc V4 made 75.94 hp in the restricted Japanese model and 118 hp elsewhere, with titanium connecting rods that cut reciprocating weight and camshafts driven by gears. It redlined at 12,500 rpm, compared with 11,000 rpm for the VFR750F, and had a tested quarter mile time of 11.8 seconds. This page belongs to the Honda RC30 (VFR750R), 1987 to 1993 model years; the generation page and the Honda RC30 model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
