1991 Honda Gold Wing

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Honda gave every bike built for 1991 a numbered plaque and anniversary edition insignia, to mark 10 years of Gold Wings made in America. There were three 1991 models: the Aspencade as the regular GL1500, the luxurious Special Edition, and the Interstate as a stripped-down model whose weight and price were cut by eliminating the reverse gear, cruise control and passenger footboards. The Marysville plant built a Gold Wing Aspencade as its 500,000th vehicle, in 1991.
