Honda introduced the Dio AF34 and AF35 in 1995 as the third Dio generation, a significant redesign with a completely new underbone frame of tubes and more aerodynamic bodywork than earlier models. The AF34 served as the standard variant and the AF35 Dio ZX as the higher-performance version, with a revised horizontal 49 cc AF-series two-stroke engine and the CVT carried over from the previous generation. Early AF35 ZX versions produced about 7.2 PS, the most powerful production two-stroke Dio. Each model year has its own page.
