The third span of the CRF series began in 2017 with the CRF450RX, a hare-scramble and hard-enduro version of the CRF450R, an optional electric starter on the CRF450R and the CRF150L launched in Indonesia in November 2017. From 2018 the CRF250R and CRF450R have electric start as standard, the CRF110F, CRF125F and CRF250F got electronic fuel injection in the 2019 model year, and the CRF300L, with a longer stroke, was introduced in November 2020.
