2012 Honda CRF Series

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Japan launched the completely redesigned dual purpose CRF250L in April 2012, with the liquid cooled DOHC 249 cc four stroke single cylinder EFI engine that it shares with the CBR250R, manufactured in Thailand. Its model designation was MD38 for 2012 to 2016, then MD44 for 2017 to 2020 and MD47 for 2021 to 2023. This page belongs to the Honda CRF Series (2008 to 2016), 2008 to 2016 model years; the generation page and the Honda CRF Series model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
