Honda introduced the sixth-generation CBR900RR, the CBR954RR in North America and Japan, in 2002 with a cylinder bore enlarged from 74 to 75 mm, which raised capacity to 954 cc, larger fuel injectors and radiator, a more powerful ECU, sleeker restyled bodywork, a strengthened frame and swingarm and raised footpegs for greater lean angles. Dry weight fell to 168 kg. The CBR1000RR replaced the CBR900RR in 2004. Each model year has its own page.
