The CBR600RR had a major revision in 2005: bodywork that was new, fully adjustable inverted forks at the front, brake discs with radial mounted calipers of four pistons, and an aluminum frame, swingarm and rear shock that were new. Midrange power rose too, and a catalytic converter joined the exhaust system. These changes, along with additional refinements to the engine and exhaust system, brought the wet weight down by 10.0 kg and the dry weight by 4.1 kg. Nothing changed from the 2005 model to the 2006. Each model year has its own page.
