The CB77 was produced until 1967, six years after it entered production in 1961. At 305 cc it had a relatively large engine for a Japanese bike of its period and had gained a reputation for reliability. The author Aaron Frank called it in 2003 the first modern Japanese motorcycle, the one that set the pattern we still follow more than 40 years later. This page belongs to the Honda CB77 (single generation), 1961 to 1967 model years; the generation page and the Honda CB77 model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
