For 1977 the US and Canadian F2 fitted higher bars and repositioned the footrests further forward to cater to consumer demand, in an attempt to recapture lost sales. It came in Candy Antares Red and Parakeet Yellow, with a revised fuel tank whose locking cap cover was recessed, and the 1977 model year was the last for the US and Canadian market. The CB400F production run ended after 1977. This page belongs to the Honda CB400 Four (single generation), 1975 to 1978 model years; the generation page and the Honda CB400 Four model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
