Recumbent Cycles and Velomobiles

Cycles that seat the rider in a reclining position, or enclose the rider in a streamlined shell, to cut drag or to make cycling possible without the legs. An entry belongs here when the cited article calls the machine a recumbent bicycle, velomobile or handcycle. It excludes upright diamond-frame bicycles. Entries are placed by what their own cited article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
