Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Midi (second generation)

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The second generation of the Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Midi, a step-entrance, low entry and low floor midibus built by the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Fuso from 1993. The English Wikipedia article gives its production as 1993 to 2007 and again from 2011 to the present, because the Aero Midi was replaced in 2008 by the Aero Midi-S, a rebadged UD Trucks Space Runner, and production of the Aero Midi city bus recommenced in 2011 after the Aero Midi-S ended in 2010. The type codes run from U-MK117, MK218 and MK517 in 1993 through KC-MK219 in 1995, KK-MK23 in 1999, PA-MK17 in 2005, SKG-MK27 in 2011 and TKG-MK27 in 2012, with a one-step version added in 1998. Body lengths range from 7.0 to 10.1 metres.
