The first generation of the Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Midi, a midibus that the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Fuso built as a complete bus or as a bus chassis, mainly for public bus and sightseeing bus service. According to the English Wikipedia article it appeared in 1988 as the replacement for the MK Series, which had been built from 1974 to 1988, and it was sold until 1993, when the second generation took over. The article lists its type codes as P-MK117, MK126 and MK517, P-MM117 and MM517 and P-MJ117 and MJ527 from 1988, and the U-MK117, U-MJ517 and U-MM117 families from 1990. The chassis was also used for export, with photographs in the article showing MK117 buses in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
