The second series of the Mitsubishi Fuso Aero Star, the heavy-duty single-decker bus that Mitsubishi Fuso builds as a city bus or a coach, introduced in 1996 and still listed as current by the English Wikipedia article. The article lists its type codes from KC-MP317 and MP717 in 1996 through KL-MP35 and MP37 in 2000, PJ-MP35 and MP37 in 2004, PKG-MP35 in 2007, LKG and QKG-MP35 and MP37 in 2010, the QKG-MP35 and MP38 facelift of 2014 with longer wheelbases on the MP38, and the 2PG and 2KG-MP35 and MP38 of 2017. Variants include the non-step low-floor version of 1997, hybrid electric versions, and the Eco Hybrid with a series hybrid drive. Australia sells it as the Fuso School Bus and Fuso City Bus. The Aero Star-S, a rebadged UD Trucks bus, is a separate line.
