The Dennis Falcon was a rear-engined chassis for single-deck buses, double-deckers and coaches, built by Dennis between 1981 and 1993, with 139 produced plus one development chassis. It was closely derived from the Dominator, sharing the front half of the frame. The Falcon H had a horizontal Gardner engine, the Falcon HC a continuous driveline with a Voith transmission, and the Falcon V used Daimler-Benz V6 engines in double-deckers and Perkins V8 engines in coaches. Most were single-deck buses for municipal operators such as Leicester and Hartlepool. The National Bus Company bought ten Falcon V express coaches in 1982, Kowloon Motor Bus took twenty Falcon HC airport coaches, and only six double-deckers were built. The Dennis Lance replaced the Falcon.
