The Leyland-DAB articulated bus was an articulated bus made by Leyland-DAB in Denmark. It found customers in Denmark and was the first modern-style articulated bus in the United Kingdom, though with limited repeat orders. Leyland, a mainly British maker, had held an overseas manufacturing interest in the Danish Automobile Building company since 1953, which used a number of Leyland parts in its own buses, and DAB had developed its own articulated model as an alternative to Volvo's articulated chassis. It was built with two body designs. The first models of 1979 were based on the Leyland National but used a Saurer 240 bhp underfloor engine and Allison automatic transmission, with Leyland axles and steering.
