Nissan Sunny California (Y10)

The Nissan Sunny California (Y10) is the fourth and last generation of the Sunny station wagon, sold from October 1990 to May 1996. Japanese Wikipedia says it debuted nine months after the B13 Sunny and was based on the AD van and wagon instead, so its model code Y10 differs from the Sunny sedan, and that in its early and middle versions it was also sold as the first Avenir and as the second AD van and wagon. Its instrument panel was taken from the B13 Sunny Super Saloon grades, which is why every grade had a tachometer. The only engine at launch was the DOHC carburettor GA15DS, in just two grades, Type A and Type B, with full-time four-wheel drive continued. An August 1993 facelift added a rear spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp, door beams and a new air-conditioning refrigerant, and in June 1995 the fuel-injected GA15DE raised output from 94 to 105 horsepower. In May 1996 the car merged with the AD wagon as the Wingroad, ending the Sunny California name after 17 years.
