The Mitsubishi Freeca is a station wagon and pickup truck that Mitsubishi Motors produced between 1997 and 2017 for the Asian market, built in Taiwan, China, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. The name joins free with ca, the Taiwanese word for vehicle. It was marketed as the Adventure in the Philippines, the Kuda in Indonesia and the Jolie in Vietnam, rebadged as a Soueast in China from 2001 to 2017, and briefly sold in South Africa as the Africar Landio and Jockey. Internally called the Dynamic Family Wagon, it had a semi-bonnet layout, rear-wheel drive and a body-on-frame chassis, with development and parts production shared among Taiwan, the Philippines and Indonesia. Engines included the 1.6 litre 4G18 petrol and diesels in Indonesia and the 2.0 litre 4G63 in Taiwan. Philippine Adventure production ended in 2017, and Indonesian Kuda assembly stopped in May 2005.
