The Ford Squire was a small estate car that Ford UK produced from 1955 to 1959. It was a two-door, four-seat design related to the four-door Ford Prefect 100E saloon, sharing its 1,172 cc sidevalve engine of 36 bhp and much of its trim, but it was substantially shorter and used the short front doors of the four-door model because the body was optimised for the panel van sold as the Thames 300E. The rear door was split in two horizontally, and the rear seat folded flat to turn it into a load carrier. A Motor road test in 1955 recorded a top speed of 112.5 km/h. Total production was 17,812 cars.
