The Ford Del Rio was a full size, six passenger station wagon built by Ford in the United States for the 1957 and 1958 model years, also marketed as the Del Rio Ranch Wagon. Ford created it to stay in the two door sport wagon market started by the Chevrolet Nomad and Pontiac Safari, after the premium Parklane failed to entice buyers in 1956. It was based on the utilitarian two door Ranch Wagon of the Custom 300 series. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1957 to 1958).
