Wolseley 30/40

The Wolseley 30/40 was an upper mid-range car that Wolseley brought out in 1914 as a smaller version of its top model, the 50. It had a water-cooled six-cylinder engine of 6,864 cubic centimetres and was supplied on chassis with wheelbases of 3,531 or 3,683 millimetres, with bodies 4,877 to 5,029 millimetres long and 1,803 millimetres wide. Production stopped in 1915 because of the war. When it resumed in 1919 on a 3,759 millimetre chassis, the 30/40 was the new flagship of Wolseley after the First World War, until production ended in 1921.
