The Renault Nervastella was a large automobile that Renault constructed between 1930 and 1937. It served as a state car, and pictures of the president of the French Republic sitting in one can be seen in newsreels from the mid-1930s. It was a smaller brother to the Reinastella, launched a year earlier, but technically more advanced, and its 3,350 mm wheelbase was still large by the standards of its time and place. The name belongs to a group of early 1930s Renault names ending in stella, a reference to the Latin word for star, while Nerva refers to a Roman emperor and to Nerva in Spain. It had an eight-cylinder in-line engine that grew from 4241 cc and 100 PS to 4825 cc in 1933 and 5448 cc in 1935, and the body choices ranged from the four-door Berline and the Coupé de ville to a six-light limousine. The Nervahuit was a reduced version shown in 1930, the Nervasport a sportier model of 1932, and the Suprastella replaced the Nervastella.
