Renault Nerva Grand Sport

The Renault Nerva Grand Sport, type code Type ABM, was an interwar passenger car from Renault. The national authority approved the first version on 22 March 1935, the Nervastella Grand Sport was its predecessor, and production ended in 1937 without a successor. A water-cooled eight-cylinder engine with an 85 mm bore and 120 mm stroke displaced 5,447 cc and drove the rear axle by shaft. The Type ABM 3 had a 321 cm wheelbase in one source and was offered as saloon, convertible and roadster, the Type ABM 5 followed in July 1935 with a three-seat coupe added and 151 built by July 1936, and the Type ABM 7 was shown at the Paris motor show in October 1936 with 110 PS and 104 cars built. The only surviving Type ABM 3 sold at auction in June 2013 for 255,060 euros.
