The Renault KZ was a mid-size car, or large family car, that Renault manufactured from 1923 until 1931. It replaced the Type GS and the Type IG, and it was intended as a rival of the Citroën Type C in the economical class known as the populaires. It had a four-cylinder engine of 2120 cc, a little larger than those of its predecessors. The KZ1, KZ2 and KZ3 arrived in 1927, followed by the KZ4 in 1929 and the KZ5 in 1931. The KZ11 was a special series of 2400 vehicles adapted for the G7 taxi company.
