The Renault 7CV was a car sold by the French maker Renault in 1903 and 1904. The name is a trade designation rather than a single design: CV stands for the French fiscal horsepower used to tax cars, as the German article on the series says explicitly. Both the French and German Wikipedia articles list the same two factory types within the series, the Type R from 1903 and the Type T, which ran from 1903 into 1904. The only printed source cited by both editions is Rene Bellu's 1979 book Toutes les Renault, and neither article records further detail about the car.
