Renault 11CV

Automobiles

The Renault 11CV was a car sold by the French maker Renault, and the French Wikipedia article gives its production span as 1912 to 1914. The designation refers to a fiscal horsepower rating, CV being the French tax unit, as the German article on the series explains. The French article lists four factory types within the series: the Type CQ from 1912 to 1913, the Type DM from 1913 to 1914, the Type ER from 1915 to 1916 and the Type FK from 1917 to 1919, so its list runs later than its stated production span, while the German article names only the CQ and DM. Both rely on Rene Bellu's 1979 book Toutes les Renault.
