Plymouth New Finer Plymouth

The New Finer Plymouth, also called the Plymouth Model PB, was a mid-size car that Chrysler built under the Plymouth name for the 1932 model year. The styling was refined again compared with the Model PA and the engine output rose through higher compression, yet the prices stayed the same, so the cars were offered as new and finer. The side-valve inline four of 3,214 cubic centimetres produced 65 brake horsepower (48 kilowatts); it was the last year of the four-cylinder Plymouth until 1971. Bodies included phaetons, sedans, coupes, roadsters and convertibles, 4,446 to 4,674 millimetres long and weighing 1,153 to 1,393 kilograms. 83,910 were built before the Standard Model PC and Deluxe Model PD replaced it in September 1932.
