The Plymouth Business, called the Business Six in its first year, was a car that Chrysler built under the Plymouth name in the 1935 to 1938 model years. It replaced the Six and Special Six of 1935 and, from 1936, the Standard, and was itself replaced by the Roadking in 1938 and 1939. The completely new 1935 Model PJ had an X-frame with a 2,870 millimetre wheelbase, rounder bodies, front-hinged doors and a side-valve inline six of 3,299 cubic centimetres producing 82 brake horsepower (60 kilowatts); it also brought the first Commercial Sedan, a one-seat wagon with a wooden rear. 63,536 were built in 1935, 92,526 in 1936 and 73,644 in 1937, and the P5 of 1938 sold poorly.
