Packard Model F

The Packard Model F is an early American automobile built by the Packard Motor Car Company in 1901, among the first cars produced after brothers James Ward Packard and William Doud Packard founded the company in Warren, Ohio, reportedly after James Packard grew dissatisfied with a car he had purchased from another manufacturer and decided he could build a better one himself. Built as a single-cylinder runabout in the style typical of the very earliest production automobiles, it helped launch Packard as a maker of high-quality cars, and the company went on to become one of the most prestigious American luxury automobile brands for much of the first half of the twentieth century before ceasing car production in the late 1950s.
