The Nash Advanced Eight was a line of eight-cylinder cars from Nash Motors of Kenosha, Wisconsin, built from 1932 to 1935. With the larger Ambassador Eight it replaced the 990. The Model 1090, introduced on 1 March 1932, kept a 3,378 mm wheelbase and used an overhead-valve in-line eight of 5.3 litres rated at 125 horsepower, with open and closed bodies seating two to seven. For 1933 it moved down a class on the chassis and engine of the previous Special Eight, giving 100 horsepower and a 3,251 mm wheelbase, and the 1934 model had a shorter 3,073 mm wheelbase and smoother body lines. In 1935 it received a streamlined body with a steeply raked grille, teardrop fenders and a fastback tail, and in 1936 the Ambassador replaced it.
