The Nash 890, spoken as Eight-Ninety, was a line of eight-cylinder cars from Nash Motors of Kenosha, Wisconsin, built for the 1931 model year only. It replaced the Twin Ignition Eight and kept its chassis, with wheelbases of 3,150 mm or 3,378 mm, and its overhead-valve in-line eight of 4.9 litres, now rated at 115 horsepower. Clutch, three-speed gearbox, rear drive and mechanical brakes on all four wheels came over from the year before, and open and closed bodies seated two to seven. The 1932 model, introduced on 1 June 1931, was renamed the 990 with a slightly V-shaped grille, rocket-shaped headlamps and a one-piece front bumper. On 1 March 1932 the Advanced Eight and the Ambassador Eight, Model 1090, took over from this line.
