The Morris Big Six was the range of the largest Morris cars, announced on 2 July 1935 and built until 1939. It replaced the Morris Oxford Six range of Sixteen and Twenty models and the original Morris Isis, and it was offered as a four-door saloon and, for some models, a two-door coupe. The Sixteen used a 2,062 cc Morris QH engine, the Eighteen a larger-bore 2,288 cc unit, and the top model was the Twenty-Five, which gained an overhead-valve engine and is sometimes called the Big Six Series III. Most models stopped in 1937, the Twenty-Five ran on to 1939, and the next comparable Morris was the Six MS of 1948.
