The Lancia Augusta was a small passenger car built by Lancia between 1933 and 1936 and shown first at the 1932 Paris Motor Show. It used a 1,196 cc Lancia V4 engine. After a decade in which Lancia was known for sports cars and mid-sized saloons, the smaller Augusta was a departure and added significantly to the maker's sales in the 1930s, though it was outsold by the cheaper Fiat 508 Ballila. It was also built at the first Lancia factory outside Italy, at Bonneuil-sur-Marne near Paris, which opened on 1 October 1931 and sold it as the Belna; about 3,000 Augusta and Belna cars were made there.
