The Lancia Astura was a V8-engined passenger car built by Lancia between 1931 and 1939 and introduced at the 1931 Paris Motor Show alongside the four-cylinder Artena, together replacing the Lambda. Its chassis was bodied by many coachbuilders as coupes, convertibles and sedans. It evolved over four series: 496 cars in 1931 and 1932, 750 in 1932 and 1933, 1,243 from 1933 to 1937 in short and long wheelbases, and 423 from 1937 to 1939 in long wheelbase only. The first two series used a 2.6 litre 19 degree V8 of 72 hp and the later ones a 3.0 litre 17 degree V8 of 82 hp. A 1936 Pinin Farina cabriolet won Best of Show at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
