The Jeffery Six was the six-cylinder car of the Thomas B. Jeffery Company of Kenosha, Wisconsin, sold alongside the four-cylinder Jeffery Four and called the Chesterfield Six in 1915. It was a 48 horsepower car on a 128 inch chassis, against the Four's 118 inch chassis and 40 horsepower. The Jeffery cars were moderately priced, from 1,550 to 1,950 dollars, and came in open or closed body styles, with special bodies built by the W. S. Seaman Company of Milwaukee, which the Jeffery company half owned. The company changed its automobile branding from Rambler to Jeffery in 1915 and was sold to Charles W. Nash in 1917, forming the foundation of Nash Motors.
