The Ford Model B, from 1904, was a costly touring car trimmed in polished wood and brass, built at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant. It was Ford's first car to use the front engine layout, with a large 24 horsepower four cylinder engine positioned at the front behind a conventional radiator. Priced at 2,000 dollars, it was a high end car, produced for three years, and replaced by the derivative Model K in 1906. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1904 to 1906).
