Dodge Victory

The Dodge Victory was the middle model of the Dodge range, a mid-size six-cylinder car introduced by Dodge Brothers of Detroit in January 1928 and built for two more years after Chrysler took over the company in 1928. The first series, numbered 130 and 131, had a side-valve inline six of 3,408 cubic centimetres producing 58 brake horsepower (42.6 kilowatts), with a three-speed gearbox and hydraulic brakes on all four wheels. In mid-1928 it was renamed the Series M, with new bodies including a two-door sedan, a roadster and a landaulet, and in January 1929 the Series DA, with 63 brake horsepower and a four-door phaeton. The DD Series took over in March 1930.
