Dodge DP-Series

The Dodge DP Series was a six-cylinder passenger car sold by Dodge of Detroit, introduced in January 1933 in a completely revised form as the successor to the DK Series. Its side-valve inline six displaced 3,299 cubic centimetres, with the bore reduced by an eighth of an inch, and produced 75 brake horsepower (55 kilowatts), with a stronger 81 brake horsepower (60 kilowatt) version available. The wheelbase shrank to 2,826 millimetres and from April 1933 was lengthened to 2,921 millimetres, when the four-door Salon Brougham sedan was dropped. Bodies were two- and four-door sedans, two coupes and a convertible, plus bare chassis for coachbuilders. The Special and Deluxe replaced it in January 1934, and the Standard joined them in June 1934.
