The Dodge DG Series was a larger eight-cylinder sister model of the DC Series, sold by Dodge of Detroit and introduced in January 1931. Its side-valve inline eight displaced 3,938 cubic centimetres and produced 84 PS (62 kilowatts) through a single-plate dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox, with hydraulic brakes on all four wheels and a 3,004 millimetre wheelbase. Bodies were a four-door sedan, a two-door coupe and a two-door convertible; from July 1931 the convertible was dropped in favour of a four-door phaeton and two more coupes, and bare chassis were also supplied for outside coachbuilders. The DK Series replaced the DG in January 1932.
