Dodge DD-Series

The Dodge DD Series was a small six-cylinder passenger car sold by Dodge of Detroit, introduced in January 1930 as a smaller offshoot of the Senior. Its side-valve inline six of 3,112 cubic centimetres produced 60 brake horsepower (44 kilowatts) through a single-plate dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox, with hydraulic brakes on all four wheels and a 2,769 millimetre wheelbase. Bodies were a four-door sedan, two two-door coupes, a two-door convertible and a roadster, with a four-door phaeton added from July 1931, and bare chassis were supplied for outside coachbuilders. Production was officially ended in May 1931, although nine cars were still made in January 1932.
