Dixi S 15

The Dixi S 15 was a car of the Fahrzeugfabrik Eisenach sold under the Dixi marque and rated at 24 PS. The German Wikipedia model list gives it that power and no production years, and it lists the type apart from the S 14/15 entry dated 1904 to 1910. A 1976 history of the Eisenach works, Wartburg Signale, says the S 15 came later out of the 2,815 cc S 12 of 1904 and had hanging valves, which in German usage means overhead valves. It was one of the intermediate types that filled the Dixi range between the large T 17 and U 35, and the history adds that the works offered its Dixi chassis of those years with many bodies, from open touring cars and phaetons to landaulets, coupes and limousines. Neither page states the years, cylinder count or body of the S 15 itself, so this entry records no more.
