Dixi B 1

Automobiles

The Dixi B 1 was a small three-seat car of the Fahrzeugfabrik Eisenach, built under the Dixi marque. The German Wikipedia model list calls it a small car with three seats, and a 1976 history of the Eisenach works says the type was designed in 1914 and was among the first Dixi models of the post-war years, followed by the R 9 and the S 16. It was a sleek three-seater with the driver's seat alone in the middle of the car and was already fitted with electric lighting. The history calls it a very advanced, if not the best, solution for a small yet capable car of its day, although it did not set the general line of the Dixi range, which was mostly medium-powered and large cars.
