Chrysler CO

The Chrysler Series CO was a six-cylinder passenger car built in Detroit for the 1933 model year. It replaced the Series CI and was the cheapest Chrysler line, though also the best seller of the range. It kept its predecessor side-valve inline six of 3,670 cubic centimetres, now rated at 83 brake horsepower (61 kilowatts), driving the rear wheels through a three-speed gearbox. Nine body styles were offered, and the semi-automatic transmission with a pneumatically operated clutch, an extra on the Series CI, became standard. 17,814 Series CO cars were built before the revised Series CA and CB replaced the line for 1934.
