The Buick Modell B-55 (Model B-55) was a five-seat touring car that Buick built in the United States for the 1914 model year only. It was the top model of the range that year and the first six-cylinder car the make produced. The inline six-cylinder engine displaced 5,424 cubic centimetres and produced 48 horsepower (35 kilowatts), driving the rear wheels through a shaft and a spur-gear transmission with three forward speeds. The touring cars rode on a wheelbase of 3,302 millimetres, left the factory with green bodies and ivory-coloured wood-spoke wheels, and were styled much like the smaller Models B-24 and B-25. Buick built 2,045 of them. For 1915 the Model C-55, with a rounder body that seated seven and cantilever rear springs, replaced the B-55, joined by a two-seat roadster, the C-54. Both continued unchanged as the D-54 and D-55 in 1916 and were then discontinued.
