The Buick Model 26 was a two-seat roadster that Buick built in the United States for the 1911 model year only, as a new mid-range model. A five-seat touring car, the Model 27, was sold beside it. Both used a four-cylinder inline engine of 3,294 cubic centimetres that gave 25.6 brake horsepower, or 19 kilowatts, with a front engine driving the rear wheels through a shaft and a three-speed gearbox. The roadster had a 2,540 millimetre wheelbase and was painted battleship grey, while the touring car sat on 2,692 millimetres and came in dark blue with white wooden wheels. Around 1,000 Model 26 roadsters and about 3,000 Model 27 tourers were built. The Models 28 and 29 replaced them in 1912, and the line continued through the 1915 Models C-36 and C-37 before Buick dropped its four-cylinder cars in 1916.
