Buick Model 41

Automobiles

The Buick Model 41 was a five-seat Pullman limousine that Buick built in the United States for the 1910 model year, as the successor to the Model 7 and the top model of the range with a large four-cylinder engine. It was the first closed model the maker offered. The cars were based on the previous year's model and used four-cylinder inline T-head engines of 5,211 or 5,506 cubic centimetres, giving 40 or 48 brake horsepower. The engine sat at the front and drove the rear axle by chain through a three-speed gearbox, and the wheelbase of 2,858 millimetres was slightly shorter than the predecessor's. Very few were made, between 27 and 40 examples.
